Refund Policy

Simple version: if you don't love the pins, you don't pay. That's the whole policy. Here's how it works in practice.

The 5-star guarantee

Every DonePins order — one-shot or subscription batch — comes with an unconditional 5-star guarantee. If the final batch doesn't earn a 5-star rating from you, we issue a full refund. No partial credits, no "store credit only," no questions asked.

We can say this confidently because of the free preview step: before any full batch runs, we render 3 sample pins from your Sheet and send them to you. You approve the direction or request a free tweak — no charge either way. By the time we render your full batch, we already know the style is on point.

How the free preview works

  • After you submit your Sheet, we render 3 representative pins within 60 minutes.
  • You review them and either approve the style or request one free round of tweaks (layout, tone, color treatment, etc.).
  • The preview is completely free. No charge unless you approve and the full batch runs.
  • If you don't approve the style after one revision and choose not to proceed, you owe nothing and your order is cancelled.

One-shot orders

  • Full refund, no time limit: if the delivered batch doesn't earn 5 stars from you, request a refund and we process it within 5 business days. The only requirement is that you've reviewed the pins.
  • Refunds return to the original payment method. Stripe processing fees may reduce the net return by a small amount in some jurisdictions.

Monthly subscriptions

  • Cancellation: cancel anytime from your customer portal. Your subscription ends at the conclusion of the current billing period and you retain full access until then.
  • No partial refunds for unused days in the current billing period on a cancellation — that's the standard for monthly SaaS.
  • Batch guarantee still applies: if any monthly batch doesn't earn 5 stars, that batch is refunded in full, even if you keep the subscription.

Annual pre-payments

  • 30-day money-back window: if you prepay annually and change your mind in the first 30 days, we refund 100% of the annual payment, no questions.
  • After 30 days: we refund the prorated value of full unused months remaining. Partial months are not refunded.
  • Example: you prepay for 12 months, use 3.5 months, then cancel. You receive a refund for 8 full unused months.

How to request a refund

Three ways — whichever is easiest:

  • Reply to any DonePins email with "refund request" and a one-line reason. That's it.
  • Email refunds@donepins.com with your order number or the email on your account.
  • Open the chat widget from donepins.com/portal and say "I'd like a refund."

Dispute resolution timeline

  • We acknowledge every refund request within 24 hours.
  • We resolve every dispute within 5 business days.
  • If a refund is approved, it typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.

We'd rather fix the issue than process a refund — if something went wrong with your batch, tell us and we'll re-render it first. But if you want the money back, you get the money back. No chasing required.
